A Pledge Ceremony on Energy Conservation was conducted on 12th December 2025 at GDC Kangan. The programme was organised to spread awareness about the importance of saving energy and to encourage responsible use of electricity in daily life. All teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, and students participated in the ceremony. The event began with a brief introduction on the significance of energy conservation and the need to adopt energy-saving habits in homes, workplaces, and society.

On the occasion of celebration of the constitutional day a vibrant and inspiring Preamble Reading was organized at Govt.Degree College Kangan on 26-11-2025.

The Programme was organized to sensitize the staff of GDC Kangan about the POSH Act 2013 and the use of She Box. The Programme also explained the roles and responsibilities of Internal complaints committee at GDC Kangan

The programme aimed to familiarize students with the significance, features, and practical utility of the SIGMA platform in streamlining academic and administrative processes.A detailed step-by-step demonstration was conducted to guide students on the registration process, enabling them to create their accounts independently on the SIGMA mobile application as well as the web portal.

A one-day training programme for faculty members from various colleges and universities was organized under the "NASHA MUKHT BHARAT ABHIYAN" with the courtesy of the Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education.
