Anti-Drug Awareness Placard Campaign under “NashaMukt Bharat Abhiyaan

Today as on 7-07-2026T, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the College organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Placard Campaign under the “NashaMukt Bharat Abhiyaan”with the objective of creating awareness among students and the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting sports as a powerful means of leading a healthy and drug-free life.



   Today as on 7-07-2026T, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the College organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Placard Campaign under the “NashaMukt Bharat Abhiyaan”with the objective of creating awareness among students and the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting sports as a powerful means of leading a healthy and drug-free life.Students enthusiastically participated in the campaign by holding attractive and informative placards carrying impactful messages such as "Choose Sports, Not Drugs," "Play Hard, Stay Drug Free," and "Sports Build Strength, Drugs Destroy Life – Choose Sports, Choose Life." The placards effectively conveyed the message that sports, physical fitness, and healthy lifestyle choices are the best alternatives to substance abuse and play a vital role in shaping responsible and disciplined youth. Addressing the participants, the Worthy Principalof the College Prof. Sadaf Nazirurged them to become ambassadors of the “NashaMukt Bharat Abhiyaan”by spreading awareness in their homes, educational institutions, and society.The College PTI Dr Sajad Ali Wanihighlighted that participation in sports develops self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and mental resilience, enabling young people to resist negative influences and lead productive lives. Students actively displayed the placards with enthusiasm and reaffirmed their commitment to building a healthy, drug-free campus and society.

The programme concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to say no to drugs, embrace sports, and contribute towards the vision of a "NashaMukt Bharat" (Drug-Free India). The campaign successfully inspired students to recognize sports as a positive force for personal development and social well-being while strengthening the message of the “NashaMukt Bharat Abhiyaan”.
