The role of an Anti-Discrimination Officer of Government Degree College Kangan is to ensure a safe, inclusive, and fair environment for all students and staff.He is a collective body responsible for preventing, addressing, and eliminating all forms of discrimination on campus.The officeris responsible for ensuring that the campus remains fair, inclusive, and free fromdiscrimination or harassment. His role is concernedwith the protection of students and staff from unfair treatment based on factors like caste, gender, religion, disability, race, or sexual orientation. He has to make sure that the college follows laws and internal policies related to equality and non-discrimination such as UGC guidelines in India.
