The College Financial Aid Committee of Government Degree College Kangan is constituted to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder access to higher education for deserving students. The Committee functions in accordance with the guidelines and various schemes sponsored by the government through NSP. The committee is responsible for ensuring that the students who face financial difficulties receive fair and timely financial support so that they can continue their education without any hindrances. The Committee issues notifications/circulars inviting applications for financial aid under various categories such as, Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and other eligible categories as per government norms. Convenor is the operational head of the Financial Aid Committee, responsible for managing the entire process (from applications to disbursement) and ensuring fairness and transparency. The College Financial Aid Committee serves as a vital support system for students belonging to ST, EWS, and other disadvantaged categories. By ensuring proper invitation, verification, and transparent selection, the Committee plays a crucial role in promoting inclusive and equitable higher educationin the college.
