The Career Counselling Committee of Government Degree College Kangan is constituted to provide systematic guidance and support to students in making informed academic and career decisions. The Committee facilitates career awareness by organizing counselling sessions, workshops, seminars, and interactive programmes focusing on higher education opportunities, competitive examinations, skill development, and emerging career avenues.

It aims to identify students’ interests, aptitudes, and capabilities, and guide them towards suitable career paths through mentorship and expert interaction. The Committee also disseminates information regarding scholarships, internships, placement opportunities, and government or private sector employment options.

Further, it collaborates with relevant agencies, institutions, and professionals to expose students to real-world career scenarios and evolving job market trends. Through continuous engagement and guidance, the Committee strives to enhance students’ employability, confidence, and preparedness for future professional challenges.
