As part of the ongoing NashaMukht Bharat Abhiyan, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the college organized an Intra-Students Carrom Competition on     12-05-2026 in the college campus. The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from both boys and girls students, making the competition lively and successful. The Programme was conducted with the aim of encouraging students to adopt healthy recreational activities and to spread awareness regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse among youth. The competition served as a constructive platform for students to showcase their talent, concentration, and sportsmanship through indoor sports activities. During the event, the Physical Training Instructor (PTI) of the College Dr.Sajad Ali Wani highlighted that participation in sports activities helps students remain away from drug addiction and other negative social practices. The Convener Sports, Prof. Inayat Ullah Dar while interacting with the students, appreciated their active participation and enthusiasm in the competition.  He encouraged students to participate regularly in sports and co-curricular activities for their overall development and well-being.

 The worthy Principal of the college Professor Sadaf Nazir appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and lauded the efforts of the Department of Physical Education and Sports for organizing such awareness-based sports activities under the NashaMukht Bharat Abhiyan.
