Today as on 25-05-2026, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the college organized a chess competition (Men) under the banner of “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and the staff members promoting mental fitness, discipline and a spirit of healthy competition with the aim of spreading awareness about harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging youth to adopt healthy and positive lifestyle through sports and recreational activities. The worthy Principal of the college Prof. Sadaf Nazir appreciated the initiative and encourage the participants to actively engage in such constructive activities that contribute towards physical and mental well-being. The Convener Sports Prof. Inayat_Ullah Dar applauded the efforts of the department for successfully organises the event and motivating youth towards a healthy and addiction-free life style. The college P.T.I Dr. Sajad Ali Wani played a significant role in the smooth conduct of such competitions and motivated the participants to actively take part in sports activities for overall development and healthy life style. The competition concluded with the spirit of Unity, discipline and Cooperation from all.
