In alignment with the directives of the District Administration, the College Wellbeing and Anti-Substance Cell under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, in collaboration with the NSS Units of Government Degree College (GDC) Kangan, organized a campus-to-community outreach program focusing on drug awareness. The initiative aimed to sensitize the general public about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote preventive measures at the grassroots level.
Introduction
In alignment with the directives of the District Administration, the College Wellbeing and Anti-Substance Cell under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, in collaboration with the NSS Units of Government Degree College (GDC) Kangan, organized a Campus to Community Outreach Program focusing on drug awareness. The initiative aimed to sensitize the general public about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote preventive measures at the grassroots level.
Objectives of the Program
- To raise awareness about the adverse physical, psychological, and social effects of drug abuse.
- To educate the community on preventive strategies and healthy lifestyle choices.
- To engage youth and local residents in meaningful discussions on substance abuse.
- To strengthen community participation in combating drug-related issues.

They were supported by dedicated NSS volunteers and students of GDC Kangan.
